Rantings and ravings. Just think of it as Sunday afternoon with the in-laws, or the eccentric grandmother. Good times had by all. Except me..because I always seem upset in my blog posts..hm.

okay so borland really isn't as intimidating a name/dame as i thought.

she is actually quite nice. soft-spoken and all of that. Elizabeth Borland is her full name and it just sounded so...mean. ya know? but she really is nice. and the class is supposed to end at 830 and it was over a little after 630 so she could help ensure our safe arrival home. (for those of us who do more than walk) because it is snowy outside. all white and sparkly. does anyone else realize that snow gets sparkly when it gets sort of dusky outside? ::sigh::. what a hopeless romantic i am. pitiful. what else do i have to say?
i'm waking up at 4 o'clock tomorrow. so i can drive in a car and ride on a train for several hours. to see the pres get sworn in and all of that. hopefully nothing horrible happens. i'm sure most of you dislike the president, but being close to the front at something like an inauguration is exciting, don't you think?
want to hear something odd? of course you do. i went to lunch by myself, saw mcgarry there (MCGARRYYYY) and i sat eating my roast beef sandwich which wasn't bad except for the roast beef. they sometimes have small baggies of chips available and they had fritos, which is something i have a taste for sometimes. but, being the "don't be unhealthy when you can eat healthy" nut i am, i ate a large plate of salad instead of grabbing the baggie of fritos.
i finished eating, and, remembering i would have a late class tonight, later than the food hall was open, i proceeded to the c-store to grab what for dinner? the healthiest thing in there. salad, of course! completely forgetting it was what i had for lunch. so i'm sitting here now, eating another salad. the only difference is that this one contains small pieces of processed meat that are shaped into rectangular prisms, and it has italian dressing rather than the bleu cheese of my lunch salad.
it doesn't end there. as i said before, class ended early. so i could have eaten at eickhoff if i so chose to. the thing is, these pre-assembled salads don't last until the next day. which is why i'm eating it. the only reason i'm eating it.

roses are red,
violets are blue.
day-old salads
taste like poo.

thank you and good night.
