(manic) depression
Ever think relationships can take on a consciousness of their own? I've become a believer in that sort of thing, and if you haven't, you should know better.
All you have to do is look at the poems and the blog posts in chronological order. Honestly, if you threw them down a flight of stairs and had to put them in order again, you'd give up and just put them in two piles. One labeled MANIC and the other labeled DEPRESSIVE. It's just easier that way. You'd form some sort of psychological disorder just trying to sort it all out. OR
If you looked at my away messages, specifically the ones that are lyrics, you'd really think I was delusional. Or that they were meant for more than one individual. Alas, they are not.
Should I throw up my hands in exasperation and say "hey, that's just the nature of love"?
NO. Well, maybe. But only because I'm too busy to do or say anything else. And theorizing about the nature of love is much too exhausting anyway.
I received some flowers today. They're very very nice and they smell very very nice and they look very very expensive. Someone went through an awful lot of trouble and they even left a very well-thought out note. Someone who happens to feign being incapable of calling a restaurant and making reservations. And this someone cleverly send them to my apt instead of to my home. I don't think anyone gives this someone credit that's deserved. However, I know better.
Please note these flowers are not for Valentine's Day. This someone knows that I do not believe in Valentine's Day.
They are for "just because".
