Rantings and ravings. Just think of it as Sunday afternoon with the in-laws, or the eccentric grandmother. Good times had by all. Except me..because I always seem upset in my blog posts..hm.

Beware, kids!! It's....THEMEGAN!!! Posted by Hello

This is meeeee. Thanks for the link Prince Charming!  Posted by Hello

::sigh::. if he isn't hiding in the woods, he's hiding in the water.

nothing can calm the unrest she suffers; how difficult it is to keep sane; when the boy is more of a wuss than she is; is this for the sake of him, the price she pays?; lying is an issue but cowardice is his virtue; hiding behind his comrades camouflaged by a word, world's apart for them both.
where he hides, she can't see; no time, keep him busy; frustrated wondering and alone she toils; everything will be right once her obligation has expired; how has the focus and the blame been shifted?; who is really the soul in hiding?; left in that other world to wait she thinks; what priorities has he and why is he incapable?; dare he fear an innocent? half his size?
two-fold his will.

theory of a lonely woman

maybe if i eat so much i become twice the woman i am now, i won't be lonely anymore because i'll have one self to keep the other self company.
and vice versa...

(Note: keep in mind please that this isn't directed toward anyone who normally reads my blogs. this is directed toward someone who never reads them. thank you.)

enjoy the rain.

i caught you a delicious bass

okay, i know some nice guys. so this really isn't directed toward you. this is really directed toward someone who doesn't read these things. these attempts at sending messages are simply my own coward way of saying something indirectly to someone who i know won't read it.
i digress.
ladies, why is it that we don't have boys building cakes and drawing portraits of us when they want to take us out? tell me that wouldn't be the sweetest attempt. and even if you're already with someone, how much would it take for them to buy a pint of strawberries and share them with you under the stars. or something like that. granted gas prices would bust the bank but the strawberries wouldn't cost more than 2 or 3 bucks...

:O(

Homosexual in the College Setting

okay so they'd really need to spice the title up. a lot. but i'm sitting here in the computer lab and across from me there are two clearly homosexual males. one is sort of prudish, but i only know that because the other is really trying to get his attention away from the work. they're talking about all sorts of things i won't get into because my sister reads this, and they might as well be two of the four characters on the afore-mentioned television sitcom.
I'm so glad they aren't getting to me though. It shows my tolerance level is extremely high. extremely. high. like, up there ^. waaaaay up there. fascinating. the culture. their own culture, not as in middle eastern or american or lithuanian. i mean a culture as in a group of people spread out throughout the world.

p.s. the non-prudish one gave up. after quite possibly an hour.
no patience.

contrary to popular belief/just in case you thought i really didn't mind...

okay listen. 'i'm sorry, it's hard for me to explain things' and 'i'm sorry i'm not good at showing how i really feel' DO NOT FLY ANYMORE. that's basically saying, 'i'm sorry i can't be sensitive/i'm horrible at being sensitive/i can't be emotional/i can't show emotion because i'm a man. it works for women because the idea didn't originate from us. we got the idea from men. we've been hearing it for hundreds...probably even thousands of years.
-'oogah. why can't she carry that boulder?'
-'oh ug, because she's a woman. ug.'

in conclusion, do NOT tell me that you have a hard time expressing your feelings or telling me how you feel because there is a difference between not being able to carry a heavy rock (my excuse) and not spending the time to formulate thoughts around your emotions (your excuse).

it's been a while since i could hold my head up high

and actually i still can't...not yet anyway. not until i've completed all of these projects.
i was in the middle of one today right before class and i have a theory about how i dealt with the stress.
i was moving along, transferring data from SPSS (a psych statistics program) into the tables i had set up on word, really stressing because it was getting closer and closer to class time, and all of a sudden, i could smell something. but it was a memory. did that ever happen to you? you're worried about something and then somehow on some subconscious level, you have a memory and it's a scent? something comforting, maybe? it was amazing and it totally got me through it.

there's a girl i know of who has a large mouth and is EXCELLENT at projecting her voice. probably because her mouth serves as an amp and the sound waves are just exploded forth from it. anyway i found out last night that apparently this poor chick has a social anxiety problem. i ask you, how does a loud mouth, outgoing chick end up w/ the makings of a social anxiety disorder?

pamp and i were discussing blame as far as God and men and The Man, in the context of this article on a Vietnam memorial and the female casualties. We decided that The Man keeps women down but God gave them the Uterus.

There's a million songs in my mind and they are all pretty dark. probably because the shades are down. why are the shades down? my dear friend, it is most conducive to napping...

as is my custom...

I came in on a rain cloud. Chances are, i'll go out on a rain cloud as well.
One reason I just thought of to celebrate someone's (or your own) birthday is that extravagantly rich people who spend frivilously make every day their birthday. Therefore, you deserve one day to claim as your own. Everyone was born, so everyone should have a day to enjoy each year. We're in competition with those richies. You know how the saying goes...keeping up with the jones'. Besides, this way, you value aging in a much wiser fashion then those who make every day their birthday. Possessions obtained, pictures drawn by children for you, and any other trinkets received have much higher value. Such sentimental value is something no one can ever take away from you.
Do a raindance in the hope the rivers don't flood too badly.

hold me closer Tiny dancer.

your time will come. your time will cooooome. your time will come.
nothing can sufficiently be said within the box of this webpage. nothing about the way i feel anyway. so this is the result: rambling of a female. topic: skirts. her skirt(s).
good luck.
There were these guys checking me out behind the counter at Wendys tonight (we went there for frostys). Staring is a better word. They were staring. Today a guy took sneaky looks over at me since i was sitting next to him. I had another guy I know stare at my chest to try and focus on the fact that my bra could very vaguely be seen through my tank. After realizing that I was smirking at the fact that my chest was the object of his staring, he made a lame comment about my hair, which he quickly changed on realizing it was not a wise thing to say and that it clearly was NOT the look I had been going for.
Ladies, it's amazing what a little pink skirt can do. It can draw attention due to the color, and then it's up to the rest of your get-up. It can make you look like a bunny. It can accentuate your rear in such a way as to draw the gaze of everyone you walk in front of. (or passed, in situations where the person is obvious in his gaze or oblivious that staring is rude.)
Much power holds the skirt in general. It isn't awarded the credit deserved.
This blog (due to the fact that I can't find the words to say what really should be said) is dedicated, to the skirt.
I have a lot of skirts. Floor length, just below the knee length, to the knee length, just above the knee length, and hoochie. They come in all colors, and some are denim. I began enjoying the wearing of skirts when i realized that A) they are very easy to get in, B) they can show off or cover whatever you want to show off or cover from your waist down, C) more often than not, when attention is desired, success is achieved.
Thank you to anyone who complimented the way I looked today. You did more than you know. And "more power to you" for all of the other ladies out there who sported a skirt today. (or in Roomie's case, a dress.) I hope it made you feel good.

Flaaaash be-fore

Now
it's time

dance in the rain. know that you're young no matter what anyone tells you or even if its difficult to stand up after sitting for a long time...

the sailors say
"brandy
you're a fine girl
what a gooood wiiiife
you would be
yea your eyes
could steal the sailor
from the sea"...
dooo do doodoo do dooo do doodoo dooo
....
the sailor said
"brandy,
you're a find girl
what a gooood wiiiife
you would be
but my life, my love and my lady
is the sea"...

listening to [when they come for me, i'll be sitting at my desk with a gun in my hand wearin a bullet-proof vest, singin 'my my my how the time does fly when you know you're gonna die by the end of the night'] catch-22. i'm also eating chocolate pudding and waiting for the cows to come home. the rain starts on friday according to the most recent forecast.
i'm broke.
i really wish i had something interesting i could say without offending anyone ::COUGHPAMPCOUGH::. or having it taken the wrong way. or without feeling like maybe i shouldn't say that because it might make someone feel bad.
i'm gonna read for a couple minutes, exercise, and be done with the day....
yea right. i'll be up late. guaranteed.

i will leave you with this...

if you aren't part of the solution,
you're part of the problem.
i am part of the problem.
AND I LOVE IT.
ahem. goodnight dears. sweet dreams and much love.

this drink tastes funny...zzzzz

you never can tell someone's true value system until you see it crumble under a few stiff drinks.
OR
you never can tell just how strong someone's value system is until you see it stand the test of alcohol...
i would love to see who (out of those people i know, men and women) would fit under which category. Not that this topic is a dichotomy. Of course there are those people who lack values and/or a value system. So the experiment wouldn't really apply to them.

In defense of a blog, which was recently claimed a childish habit that's "immature", "bad", and "horrid", by the devil, I am using it as a type of self-control therapy thing. Self-control therapy is basically like a 'how to' book. it's a way of self-observation, and self-contracts. promises and plans. also, it involves (doesn't have to but occasionally does) other people, to help you along. in the case of the blogging, clearly it comes in the form of comments, formally made and out of the realm of the blogger.com pages.

'sometiiiimes
i go a little crazy just like you i do...'

Thank you and Good Night

:O)
p.s. 3 more days.

My mommy told me not to talk to strangers.

I don't know you
But I think I've seen you
Somewhere before...
You came to me in a dream
And said the sky is falling,
Let's be the [first in Heaven] only ones left.
Come under here
We'll keep each other warm.
You promised me
Sweet desires
As I followed you
Into that great Abyss
Many leagues below humanity.
You took from me
Everything I ever valued.
And like that Grinch
You slithered your way around
Grabbing everything in sight
The first thing to go
Was my soul.
