Rantings and ravings. Just think of it as Sunday afternoon with the in-laws, or the eccentric grandmother. Good times had by all. Except me..because I always seem upset in my blog posts..hm.

this ain't a scene..

in love with that song.

so, i'm convinced that i have a subconscious fear that's serving as my driving motivation this semester. it's a strange thing for me. unfortunately, i forgot one of my books at school. other than that, i have all of the work done for this week, and next. no caffeine either. i mean, i had a few cups of tea this weekend and one can of mountain dew but other than that, absolutely nothing. all of my classes are footwork and brainstorm intensive, and i mean i am kickin butt right now. so, i am convinced that it's all on some subconscious level that i'm being driven like this because i just keep going. it isn't like running a marathon..or maybe it is. certain parts just go on autopilot and i'm just sort of plodding ahead. aaand..i'm not entirely hating it. the work is dare i say..enjoyable? i only hope the rest of the aspects of my semester are as enjoyable.

Interlocutor

My IV drip I cling to the life You seep through my veins My only source of nourishment Food for life In desperation I await the next beat to pulse Through my flat-lined Heart He trips my wires I skip a beat I depend upon the plug he holds Powerless to the sound enraptured by the beat hanging on the melody Clinging to save my life.

I just got pulled over. My first time. Driver's side headlight is out. You'd think the dudes that checked everything else on my jeep when they redid the inspection would've noticed..

Highlights from the last few days

Number one on the list is watching Dilly catch very large snowflakes in his mouth. It was hilarious. I would've taped it but i don't have batteries in my camera.
Next is the whole big 'thing' with tuition reimbursement. For some strange reason, my boss is so thrilled with me that he's willing to bust his butt to convince his bosses to change the current standards for deciding who receives tuition reimbursement and who does not. I think him most sincerely and hope that after all this, I happen to be taking a course that falls under the "Eden Approved" category.
Next is Scottie V. and our salad making. It was most entertaining.
Finally, there's Scott Watt who, despite his lack of fine motor skills, is nimble-fingered enough to clean up his messes after he eats.
Oh oh yea and one more thing..HELLOOOO Jerry can READ!! why did it take me so long to realize this? He was reading the Friendly's menu like a pro.
Catch ya later kids.
